    Dental Bridges

Replace missing teeth with a fixed, natural-looking bridge in just 3–5 days.

    What is a Dental Bridge?

A dental bridge is a fixed restoration that spans the gap left by one or more missing teeth. The bridge consists of two crowns (called abutments) anchored on the teeth adjacent to the gap, with a false tooth (or teeth) suspended between them. Unlike removable dentures, bridges are permanently cemented and function like natural teeth.

    Types of Dental Bridges

    • Traditional Bridge: The most common type; uses crowns on adjacent teeth to support the fake tooth (ideal for single missing teeth or small gaps)
    • Cantilever Bridge: Used when a tooth is missing on only one side; supported by a single abutment tooth
    • Implant-Supported Bridge: Uses dental implants instead of natural teeth as anchors; superior long-term solution for larger gaps

    The Bridge Procedure

    • Day 1: Adjacent teeth are prepared; temporary bridge fitted
    • Day 2–3: Bridge is designed and milled in-house using CAD/CAM technology
    • Day 3–5: Final bridge is fitted, adjusted for bite, and cemented permanently

Bridge vs. Implant: Which is Right for You?

Bridges are more affordable and require no surgery or bone healing time. Implants are individually supported, don't require grinding down adjacent teeth, and last longer (15+ years vs. 10–15 for bridges). Bridges are ideal if you need a fast, cost-effective solution. Implants are superior if you have healthy adjacent teeth you'd prefer not to alter.

    Materials: Why Zirconia?

We recommend zirconia for bridges because it's extremely strong (essential for long-spanning restorations), metal-free, and naturally tooth-coloured. Zirconia bridges resist staining and discolouration, ensuring your smile remains bright for years.

    Care & Longevity

Dental bridges can last 10–15 years with proper care. Floss daily under and around the fake tooth using a floss threader — plaque buildup under bridges can lead to decay in the supporting teeth. Avoid chewing on hard objects. With diligent care and regular dental checkups, your bridge will serve you beautifully for well over a decade.
